Watermelon is one of my favorite fruits.  It is about 90% water with very few calories. It’s loaded with all the important minerals and vitamins including K.  Watermelon also contains the amino acid citruline which helps with nitric oxide production.  Nitric oxide helps regulate blood pressure and makes the vessels more flexible.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Watermelon Juice (Fresh melon flesh in a blender, run through a seive)
  • 4 oz. White Wine
  • 2 oz. Lime Juice

Instructions

Put ingredients in a tall ice filled glass and shake or stir.  Garnish with fresh blueberries and watermelon chunks. (OK, the 2oz. of watermelon juice will add 18 calories to your drink.)
